Operation Smile China Medical Mission (OSCMM) is not funded by the Hong Kong Government or the Community Chest. Every year, OSCMM organizes activities in conjunction with other organizations to raise funds from individuals and corporations through events such as charity balls, film premiers, flag days and charity auctions.
Revenue Breakdown (July 2005 - June 2006):

OSCMM funds are used to:
- Perform free facial reconstructive surgery on underprivileged children suffering with cleft lips or cleft palates in China.
- Donate state-of-the-art medical equipment to hospitals in China.
- Sponsor two Chinese doctors to attend a medical training program in the United States.
- Organize medical workshops for medical volunteers in China.
- Cover the cost of transportation, food and lodging for the volunteer medical teams during medical missions.
