Our Mission
Throughout the world, Operation Smile volunteers repair childhood facial deformities while building public and private partnerships that advocate for sustainable healthcare systems for children and families. Together, we create smiles, change lives, heal humanity.

About Us
Operation Smile Venezuela volunteers are proud that they are caring for almost twice as many patients on local missions as on international missions. Their strength is their medical team and its local commitment to missions and ongoing follow-up care, which includes orthodontics, speech therapy, and psychology. In collaboration with the non-governmental organization, RSF-Earthspeak, Operation Smile Venezuela is using RSF-Earthspeak’s speech therapy program to help parents teach speech rehabilitation skills to their children. This program is particularly suited to children who live in rural or remote areas and for whom it would be difficult or impossible to come in to the cities to obtain speech therapy from a qualified specialist.
